We are also committed to creating calm, stimulating and enriching environments that are well resourced where pupils can thrive. Passionate about maintaining smaller ratios of children to staff, each child receives the upmost devotion and attentiveness from their peers, and this starts from the moment they enter our school. Teachers set individual learning tasks for each child to support their personal needs and one-to-one reading and phonics support is offered daily.
Following the addition of the Year 1 / 2 class in September 2022, from September 2023, we will be introducing a Key Stage 1 (Reception class) to our lower Prep school, St Nicholas House. This class will admit pupils from Age 4.
The Reception class will follow a rich and engaging curriculum, where pupils will explore, question and challenge themselves in the safety of the school’s beautiful and extensive surroundings. An all-round education philosophy will combine a careful blend of numeracy and literacy with a wide range of other subjects, as well as a varied selection of extra-curricular activities.
