Christ College occupies a beautiful site on the outskirts of Brecon, a safe, small market town in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are situated in an area which contains some of the most spectacular and diverse landscapes in Europe. The area is home to the mighty Pen-y-Fan, with its distinctive red table top summit – the highest Old Red Sandstone summit in Britain.
We are situated just a minute’s walk from the centre of historic market town of Brecon which is the bustling centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
With its narrow compact streets, Georgian facades and the restored canal basin, the town tells tales of times gone by. For culture, seek out the 12th century Cathedral, South Wales Borderers Military Museum, and Brecknock Museum and Art Gallery as well as Theatr Brycheiniog. Brecon offers many great places to eat and stay, and the monthly Brecknock Farmers Market is the biggest in the area.
