We are delighted to introduce the First Steps Award from September 2026.
The First Steps Award has been created to help families begin their journey with Christ College Brecon. Offering a 20% reduction in school fees, the award provides an accessible pathway into our nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
The award is available to children joining Reception, Year 1 or Year 2.
What is the First Steps Award?
For nearly 500 years, Christ College Brecon has been committed to creating opportunities and supporting young people to achieve their full potential. The First Steps Award reflects this longstanding commitment while responding to the needs of modern families.
The award provides a 20% reduction in tuition fees, helping families take the first step towards a Christ College education.
Who is eligible?
The First Steps Award is available to families who:
- Are applying for a place in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2.
- Can meet the remaining balance of school fees.
- Are able to cover additional costs associated with school life, including uniform, educational visits, optional activities, and transport to school (if required).
How to apply
Applying for the First Steps Award is simple, and can be done through our standard admissions process:
- Complete the Registration Form.
- Our Head of Admissions will contact you to arrange a taster day for your child.
Duration of the Award
The First Steps Award remains in place until the end of Year 2.

To apply, simply complete the Registration Form. No registration fee will be payable for children joining Reception, Year 1 or Year 2.
