Supporting Others

Christ College Brecon has long been part of the town of Brecon and regularly supports local events held in Brecon Cathedral, the local community, and surrounding areas.

Christ College welcomes local schools on campus, whether it be hosting regional sports fixtures, using the sports facilities or viewing on of our school productions.

As part of our Curriculum for Life Programme , Sixth Form pupils undertake volunteering work in the local area. Even our junior pupils get involved with our local community. They are ‘Dementia Friends’ and regularly delight residents of our local care home, the highlight being their Christmas Carol roadshow.

The school encourages pupils to ‘give back’. Each year the school nominates charities to support through the year and pupils within their boarding houses also choose a charity close to their hearts. Below are a selection of charities that we regularly support.
