Christ College Instrumentalist of the Year Competition

The annual search to find the outstanding solo instrumental performer in the senior school. The Intermediate round takes place in the afternoon, before the Advanced round in the evening. We are most grateful to Old Breconian, W. Hugh Phillips JP, FCO for his most generous support of the Christ College Instrumentalist of the Year competition. To recognise Mr Phillips’ generosity and commitment to Christ College in general, and to the Creative Arts in particular, a plaque was unveiled four years ago in Y Neuadd Goffa: The Memorial Hall which re-named the drama studio, The Phillips Studio.
