Mini Summer Fun Camps Ages 7 – 11 (19th July – 13th August)
If your 7-11 year old children are looking for some daily summer fun playing a variety of sports, swimming & games or enjoying some art and drama, come and join our Mini Summer Fun Camp running Monday to Friday for four weeks between 19th July and 13th August.
Each day will include a variety of sports and outdoor games including cricket, football, hockey, tennis, badminton, rounders, dodgeball, capture the flag and swimming amongst others. Art or drama will be featured each week on a Friday. Lunch will be included each day and we would request that each child also bring a bottle of water and snacks if required. The price daily is £35 including lunch.

Adventure Summer Camp July & August 2021
If your 10-16 year old children are looking for outdoor adventure during the summer holidays, look no further than the Christ College Summer Adventure Camps.
Making the most of the mountains, rivers and woodland of the Brecon Beacons, children aged 10-16 will have the choice of a range of activities such as high ropes & zip wire, mega stand up paddle boarding, archery combat, kayaking, raft building, gorge walking, coasteering at the Gower, tubing, multi-sports and even some axe throwing!
This is an opportunity for children to have fun, build new friendships and enjoy a great sense of achievement as they explore beautiful places and harness their spirt of adventure.
If you are looking for your children to enjoy some quality time outdoors with other young people, then this camp will be ideal.
Based at Christ College, we make full use of the surrounding areas nearby. Children will have the best of both worlds: adventure during the day, an evening programme of fun and relaxation at night back at the boarding house.
Activities are gently challenging and aimed at encouraging teamwork and having fun. As a parent you are offered complete reassurance that your children are enjoying themselves in the great outdoors. As children, you will have fun and a great adventure!
Camps are weekly residential ( 6 days / 5 nights cost £475 per person ) or you may prefer to join for the week, returning home at the end of each day ( 6 days cost £425 per person). We are also offering a daily option if that suits you most for £85 per day.

Adventure, Sport & Recreational Activities
The course is designed for children to thrive in a new environment, make friends, work in teams and enjoy new challenges. The camp offers a wide range of activities to suit all tastes and interests.
The Brecon Beacons National Park is one of the premier locations in the UK to enjoy a wide range of adventurous activities such as gorge walking, rock climbing, canoeing, raft building and abseiling.
Children will have a choice of activities over three days and will be encouraged to try them all. Have a look at these details below and see which ones are tempting!
Wearing wetsuits, buoyancy aid and water helmet you will following your instructor and his instructions and will be making your way upstream of the river, exploring behind waterfalls, jumping off ledges and jumping into deep pools.
High Level Ropes Course & Zip Wire
Equipped with a safety harness and climbing helmet, you will attempting several rope challenges starting from ground level up to 30ft high, such as the balance log, trapeze bar and cow tails. But don’t worry, your team mates are there to help and encourage you and your instructor is keeping a close watch at all times. You will finish with an 80 meter zip wire.
Rock Climbing and Abseiling
Equipped with safety harness and climbing helmet, this activity is designed to teach you climbing skills whilst having fun! Our experienced climbing instructors will introduce you to the equipment you will be using throughout your climbing & abseiling session, as well as teaching you the basic climbing techniques such as traversing, bouldering & be-laying. Once you have mastered these, then it’ll be time for you to have a go. Beginning with an easy climbing route, you will start to build your confidence and climbing skills and find yourself moving up to the more challenging routes.
For this activity you will be given a buoyancy aid and a paddle. At the venue start point your instructor will issue you with poles, ropes and large barrels and ask your team to design and construct a raft to carry the whole team. Hopefully it will stay afloat long enough for you to complete the task that you instructor may give you!
For this activity you will be given a buoyancy aid and paddle. Your instructor will lead you on a short river trip, coaching you in paddling skills and canoe control along the way.
This age old skill and equipment has evolved over the years, but the principle has remained the same. You will learn how to hit the target and accrue winning points for your team. Your Archery Coach will be at hand with any help and guidance that you may need to fine tune your skill.
Sports coaches will be leading team based games in traditional sports as well as frisbee golf, orienteering, bush craft and capture the flag. There will be two main sports days each weeks and children will continue to earn their team points whilst still having fun.
Students will enjoy some free time and relax in the grounds or in the boarding house. Days will be action packed though and there will be a full programme of evening activities in which to participate also. Take a look at the sample programme to see what will be on offer.
Excellent facilities include extensive sports fields, heated swimming pool, sports hall, tennis and squash courts, all-weather sports pitch, 9 hole golf course, a performance hall.
Social events include, camp fires, parachute games, team challenges, treasure hunts, quizzes and an end of camp party.
Accommodation & Pastoral Care
Our aim is for everyone to enjoy a fantastic summer experience in a warm and caring environment. Students will stay in comfortable boarding houses, each with their own common areas for relaxation. They will be looked after by male and female Group Leaders as well as resident Team Leads.
Most accommodation is in shared rooms and small dormitories, with a very limited number of single rooms available.
All bed linen is provided, however, students are asked to bring their own towels.
Should you have any specific room sharing or non-room sharing requirements, we will always do our best to accommodate them.
Each student will be assigned to a House Tutor who will be responsible for the student’s well-being during the camp.
All food preferences will be catered for through a diverse range of British and international well-balanced cuisine.
Meals will either be served in our Dining Hall, at our adventure site as a picnic or occasionally around the camp fire.
All of our meals are healthy and nutritionally balanced with a wide variety to choose from.
Should your child have any special dietary requirements, we will do our best to accommodate them. Most diets can be catered for by prior arrangement but please check with us before booking to be absolutely sure.
