On Thursday 20 November at 7.00p.m. in the Y Neuadd Goffa: The Memorial Hall, our newly-formed Orchestra of Christ College Brecon will join forces with the professional ranks of the Welsh Sinfonia, conducted by Mark Eager, for an unforgettable evening of music.
This concert marks the first year of our membership of the Welsh Sinfonia’s ‘Crescendo’ Project, working with schools to build and develop orchestral playing. As well as performances from the combined orchestra, the Welsh Sinfonia will also perform some favourite orchestral classics; they will also accompany two senior Christ College musicians, Gwen James (violin) and Joseph Walker (bassoon), who will perform concerto movements.
This evening is unique in the Christ College Music calendar and is not to be missed! Tickets are £5 for adults and free for Under 18s. Tickets can be purchased via TicketSource.
