Talent on display at St Nicholas House Eisteddfod 2021
There was plenty of talent on display at today’s Eisteddfod. The event opened with ‘Hen Wlad fy Nhadau’ where all pupils stood and listened intently. The recitation team winners each performed their English and Welsh pieces whilst musicians Helisent, Shan Shan ,Izzy and Freya all performed their pieces to an excellent standard.
Winners of the Team singing competition were Team Taf for their beautiful performance of Light Shine a Light by Katrina and the Waves.
The Clay Dragon Eye Art winners were : -Class 1 Angharad R, Class 2 Shan Shan, Class 3 Esme A.
The St Nicholas Bard of 2021 was Harry L. who wrote an exceptional story based on the short Pixar film Kitbull.
The fun continued into the afternoon with Welsh food tasting and rounded off for an Easter Egg hunt!
