The Lent term will see St Nicholas pupils immerse themselves in the topic of ‘Global Gourmet’.
It is essentially a project where the children plan, market, resource and then run their own café for the day, pupils will not only spend their time learning more about food and where it comes from, they will create menus, and learn about marketing & advertising. There are lots of cross curricular skills involved and a whole load of Literacy and Numeracy skills being developed.
On March 29 they will be opening their very own St Nicholas pop up cafe to which St Nicholas parents are invited. We do hope you can make it and sample our produce.
Please pop a note in your diary so as to not miss out on this spectacular event.
