Sporting Sisters
We are delighted to share some cricket news, following a busy summer for sisters Eve, Tess and Beth;
- Beth captained the East Wales Girls U11 cricket team at the Wales girls cricket festival in Aberystwyth, where East, West, North and South Wales teams play each other to select the future national teams. Beth was the top run scorer at the festival and was selected for the Wales Girls Under 12 squad!
- Tess has been selected for the Western Storm Elite Player Programme (EPP) for the coming year. Western Storm are one of 8 full time professional women’s cricket teams in the UK.
- Eve has been promoted to the Western Storm Academy for the coming year, training alongside the full-time women’s professional side. She will be the only Welsh player in the Academy.
We are extremely proud of the girls for their outstanding achievements and we are sure that they will continue to be role models for other girls at CCB who would like to take up the sport.
