Pupils Turn Out In Style To Support Sport Relief 2014!

It is evident that the pupils are really excited to be raising money for Sport Relief 2014! As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise money and change lives. The nation’s favourite sports day will be kicking off in schools and nurseries across the UK today.

To do our bit and raise money for this cause, pupils are participating in a Games Kit Day and are planning all sorts of sports-related activities, with proceeds going to Sport Relief. On Saturday 22nd March at Christ College there will also be a Sport Relief football tournament for pupils in Forms 1-3, whilst Forms 4 and 5 pupils will be participating in a Sports Relief football tournament in Hereford.

Head of Christ College, Emma Taylor, said: “Our pupils love getting our school involved with Sport Relief, and they can’t wait to do their bit!”

Charlotte Milner, Fundraising Assistant (Schools & Youth) at Comic Relief said: “Christ College was one of our biggest fundraising schools for Sport Relief 2012, so from all of us at Comic Relief well done and thank you. You are amazing!”
