Pupils Make Themselves At Home On Japanese Exchange

FOUR PUPILS FROM CHRIST COLLEGE BRECON ARE SPENDING TWO WEEKS IN JAPAN AS PART OF OUR EXCHANGE PROGRAMME WITH MEIKEI HIGH SCHOOL.

Pupils arrived in Japan on Thursday at the start of their two-week exchange visit with pupils from Meikei High School, based in Tsukuba, north east of Tokyo.

Our intrepid Lower Sixth pupils arrived in Tokyo and have spent their first day in school. Amy, Georgia, Thomas and Luca have been having an extraordinary time of it so far under sunny Japanese skies.

As usual, the welcome has been overwhelmingly hospitable and the pupils are getting used to life in the school with Cookery, Kendo and Calligraphy the order of the day. The group’s first impressions have been unanimously positive.

Georgia can be seen helping her team to make a lunchtime bento box – chicken stuffed with seaweed and cheese, and other delicacies.

As and when updates arrive, we’ll keep you all posted!
