The new Archbishop of Wales, The Most Rev John Davies Licensed The Rev Richard Allen as the new Chaplain at Christ College at a service of Evensong at Brecon Cathedral on Sunday 10th September.
Christ College’s new Head, Mr Gareth Pearson, presented the Chaplain to the Archbishop.
A number of Christ College staff and pupils also sang in the Cathedral choir for the afternoon.
Richard, along with his wife Harriet, joined the college in September. Richard is teaching RS and helping with games and Harriet is teaching in St Nicholas House, Christ College’s junior section. They previously served at Millfield and prior to that Richard was rector of Christ Church, Exmouth.
