A TALENTED LOCAL MUSIC SCHOLAR HAS BEEN AWARDED A COVETED PLACE IN THE NATIONAL YOUTH ORCHESTRA OF WALES
Carys, a Year 11 Music Scholar from Brecon, has been awarded a coveted place in the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. She will be taking part in their residential summer course this year and will be performing with them throughout Wales.
As a talented viola player, she is in great demand and performs with the Crescendo Orchestra, String Orchestra and Senior Strings Chamber Ensemble at school; she is also a key member of the South Powys Youth Orchestra. Carys also plays the piano and sings in the Chapel Choir. A true Music Scholar indeed!
Well done Carys and we look forward to hearing all about your experiences with the NYOW.
