Brecon Jazz 2013 hosts some of the leading lights of the Jazz world; Django Bates, Jools Holland, Courtney Pine, Zoe Rahmen, Phronesis, Julian Siegel, Jason Robello, and Acker Bilk plus many more.
During the festival Christ College will be hosting a programme of Jazz Masterclasses featuring a number of the esteemed artists. As always, spaces are limited and demand is proving to be high so please buy your tickets in advance by clicking here. Masterclasses at Christ College include:
Saturday 10th August
Sunday 11th August
Last year’s street entertainment proved popular so another programme has been developed to keep all ages entertained around the town and there is a complementary programme of free music around the town too in the vicinity of the official Brecon Jazz venues.
Christ College will also be exhibiting in Brecon Town Centre on Saturday 10th August outside St Mary’s Church so please visit our marquee in the centre of the town.
All of this makes for a mouthwatering line-up that sustains Brecon’s standing in the Jazz world as we look forward to next year’s 30th anniversary and the continued success of one of the UK’s finest Jazz events.
