There are just two weeks remaining before we welcome the four pupils from Meikei School near Tokyo in Japan to the beautiful setting of Christ College. We have designed a wonderful itinerary for our guests, ensuring that they see the very best of all that Wales has to offer.
They will be based at CCB and spend two weekends away with their host families. This experience marks the first half of the exchange program, with our four pupils already looking forward to what will be a fantastic fortnight in Japan. The host families in Japan will expose our pupils to a wonderful variety of activities, giving a clear picture of the cultural elements that set Japan apart. The sights, the food and the ceremony that comes with life in Japan will provide lasting memories for our pupils who have been hugely looking forward to both parts of the exchange programme.
Japan Exchange pupils Ellie, Lydia, Zach and Joe with Mr Hill.
Our four pupils have been brushing up on their basic Japanese in preparation for the more formal parts of the trip. They will be out of their comfort zone in the most fantastic way.
