House Speech & Drama Festival

Before half term, we held our annual House Speech & Drama competition at Christ College Brecon. This year’s festival featured two exhilarating competitions;

Junior Houses

Usk, Wye, and Taff, went head-to-head, showcasing their talents in a battle for the title of Best Group Piece.

Senior Houses

The stakes were a little higher for our senior houses as they compete across various categories, including monologue, duologue, poem, and group piece.

Each house gave their all to contribute valuable points towards the Annual House Competition.

We were honoured to welcome the talented actress, Devon Elise Johnson, who lent her expertise as the adjudicator for this year’s festival. Her insights and feedback undoubtedly added a touch of professionalism to the event, providing valuable guidance to our aspiring performers.

Congratulations to all pupils involved, the level of talent was extremely high and the audience enjoyed watching every performance. A special mention to Taff for winning the junior competition and to School house for securing victory in the senior competition.
