At the end of an amazing House Singing competiton, and following a rousing speech from Chair of the Society of Friends, Cath Maggs, the audience members dug deep and made generous donations to the Society of Friends.
Members of the Friends were strategically places on exits from the Sports Hall but they did not need to give any encouragement to donate to an audience that had just experiences a wonderful evening’s entertainment.
Their genorosity resulted in nearly £750 being donated on the night!
Chair of the Friends, Cath Maggs, said: “Thank you so much to those who donated, to the volunteers who collected, but also to the pupils who entertained us. They were inspirational and we will ensure that our fundraising efforts will bring them the benefits that they deserve!”
