At Christ College we have 3 awards given to pupils for their contribution to School life.
Service awards are to acknowledge an exceptional contribution to school life. They are given to pupils who selflessly give their time for the benefit of Christ College and its pupils. This service can be given within any aspect of school, service in house, within Music, sport, charity work.
School Half-colours are awarded to pupils who have given exceptional service to school over an extended period of time. They also need to have reached a high standard of ability. As they are school half-colours and not specifically sport or music half-colours, they also must be pupils whose conduct and behaviour is good throughout school.
To gain full school colours pupils must perform at an outstanding level, (International honours or equivalent) or their level of service to Christ College must be extraordinary in many aspects of school life. Pupils are awarded a full colours tie and a CCB badge and their name goes on the colours board.
Due to only being part of the way through the season, Rugby, hockey & netball awards will be awarded later in the year. Today we have focused on those that have given an outstanding contribution across a number of aspects of school life, in addition to their behaviour and conduct.
