Form 4 pupil Issy Morris struck Gold at the Welsh Athletics Championships in August as she powered to a superb win in the 3000m.
Issy ran an incredible last lap to claim victory and the U15 title in a time of 10 mins 27 sec – just 5 secondss outside the Welsh record! The U15 and U17 age groups ran together to form a strong field of 12 girls but Issy’s run was good enough to see her finish as overall winner.
On 31st August, Issy will represent Wales at the 2013 Inter-Regional Triathlon Championships which are being held at Eton Dorney.
