After winning the UK Pony Club Championships in the summer , Oliver and the Monmouthshire Mounted Games team set their sights on the Prince Philip Cup at the Horse of the Year Show, which took place at the Birmingham NEC October 6-10th.
The UK Pony Club Championships consisted of the top 24 teams in the UK. The team won with 2 races to go which saw them qualify for the much coveted Horse of the Year Show.
Riding in front of 10,000 people at last week’s Horse of the Year Show, the team came away with two out of the three trophies they were competing for – the Pony Club Cup, and The Stable Trophy . They were also Reserve Champions of the Prince Philip Cup.
