On Tuesday 30th September, L7-M9 Christ College parents attended a very informative and thought-provoking Internet Safety Briefing with Dyfed Powys Police’s PC Mike Eckley.
PC Eckley is a regular visitor to Christ College as part of the Dyfed Powys Police Schools’ Liaison Programme which forms part of the school’s PSE curriculum. There was a great deal of audience participation with many topical questions answered. Afterwards, parents commented that they now felt better informed to look at privacy settings on Facebook and other social media platforms. They also felt better prepared to have open discussions with their children about internet safety in general.
