As well as hosting one of most prestigious UK independent schools, Christ College will also be using the fixture to launch its new two-year sponsorship deal for rugby at Christ College.
Kick-off is at 4pm with visitors welcome. Returning to Christ College is Eton College 1st XV Coach, Ian R Swan (Orchard 99-01). Director of Rugby at Christ College, Jon Goodridge, said, “It is a great opportunity for us to play such a prestigious school as Eton who are renowned for their great rugby prowess. It will be a wonderful experience for our boys playing against such a top English school and it will be great to be able to host them. It is also an exciting way to start our season and unveil our new shirt and rugby sponsor. We are always keen to get these sorts of fixtures as a playing experience for our pupils and it shows how we are always strengthening and developing our rugby programme at Christ College.”
