CHRIST COLLEGE ARE THRILLED TO HEAR THAT JOHN DAVIES, BISHOP OF SWANSEA AND BRECON AND A GOVERNOR OF CHRIST COLLEGE, HAS TODAY BEEN ELECTED AS ARCHBISHOP OF WALES.
Bishop John has been a great supporter of Christ College – he was a parent before he became a Governor. His pastoral care for the whole school community has been much appreciated, as well as his inspiring addresses at annual Carol Services and Prize Day Services.
Chair of Governors, Sir Paul Silk, said “We are all delighted that Bishop John is to be our Archbishop. We congratulate him warmly on his appointment, and we look forward to his continued wise guidance to the community of Christ College”
