Some of our Musical Theatre Workshop pupils had the opportunity to shine at Theatr Brycheiniog last Saturday performing at ‘Drew’s Concert’.
The concert was a variety performance aimed at raising funds for the Drew- Barker- Wright Charity to raise awareness of rare childhood cancer. The show offered a mix of music, song, dance and laughter with a line up of local choirs , dance groups, bands as well as special guest appearances from West End performers.
The audience were treated to a stunning performance of ‘Naughty’ from the hit west-end musical ‘Matilda’ sung beautifully by CCB’s Sofia before the rest of our pupils joined her on stage for the high energy ‘Revolting Children’. Neve and Lottie continued to impress the crowd with their exciting rendition of ‘Consider Yourself’ from Oliver. All of the girls performed exceptionally and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The school was incredibly proud and we look forward to seeing them perform once more in our showcase at the end of the Michaelmas term.
