The Christ College U14s Boys Hockey team were crowned South Wales Champions in thrilling style at Swansea University this afternoon (28th March).
They battled through to the final and where they faced Ysgol Glantaf. At the end of full time, nothing could separate the teams so the tie went to a penalty shoot out.
Christ College goalkeeper, Jack Christian, seized the moment with a superb save during the sudden death penalty shoot-out. This was the cue for celebrations in the Christ College ranks!
The Mixed U12s finished Runners-Up in their South Wales Tournament but nevertheless have qualified to play in their National Finals, keeping up Christ College’s incredible record of National Hockey Final appearances.
