29 CHRIST COLLEGE MUSICIANS WERE ENTERED FOR ABRSM PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS THIS TERM AND THE RESULTS WERE THE BEST ON RECORD FOR THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT.
14 pupils gained a Distinction, 11 passed with Merit and 4 other pupils passed respectably. Of those awarded the highest accolade of a Distinction, two were at Grade 8 level and one at Grade 7 level. Also gaining Distinctions at Grade 1 level were two pupils in St Nicholas House.
These results come at the end of an exciting and busy term of music making, and they prove that courage and perseverance really do pay off in the end. Many congratulations to everyone at Christ College who took an ABRSM exam this term (and indeed to the dedicated and talented staff who taught them!).
Congratulations to them all.
