YR 11 BEN FROM SENNYBRIDGE TRAVELLED TO FAREHAM, HAMPSHIRE LAST WEEKEND FOR THE CASTING OF THE YOUTH MUSIC THEATRE UK’S PRODUCTION OF TESS OF THE D’URBERVILLES.
Auditions were held in Cardiff in February and Ben was fortunate to be offered a place on the YMT Company for this summer. YMT is a national performing arts company that specialises in creating brand new music theatre. Its alumni include superstars such as Ed Sheeran.
YMT works across the UK and Ireland with leading industry professionals to offer unique opportunities and high-quality training to young singers, actors, dancers and musicians as well as emerging artists and stage technicians.
In previous years, Ben has worked with YMT in productions in Plymouth and Belfast. This summer he will spend three weeks working with a professional artistic team in Hampshire before performing at the Theatre Royal Winchester from 1st – 3rd of September.
