UPPER SIXTH PUPIL, ISSY, FROM CWMDU HAS BEEN SELECTED TO REPRESENT WALES IN THE UNDER 20 INTERNATIONAL TRACK EVENT AGAINST ENGLAND.
Local pupil, Issy sees her fine form continuing as she receives selection for the Welsh U20 International Track event being held on the 5th March.
Issy has been selected on the back of her superb Silver medal performance at the Welsh Indoor Championships earlier this month.
Issy will be competing in the 1500m event in the U20 category even though she has only recently turned 18. This is a huge achievement for Issy who has already represented Wales and Welsh Schools in cross country, track and road in addition to representing GB triathlon for U23 age group and winning a European Silver medal.
