ANNA, A TALENTED MUSICIAN FROM PEMBROKESHIRE, HAS WON THE DISTRICT FINAL OF THE ROTARY YOUNG MUSICIAN COMPETITION.
Lower Sixth pupil Anna, performed on the harp at the competition and fended off strong competition to win a place at the Regional Final, to be held at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff on Saturday 4th March.
Winners from that evening are selected to go through to the National Final, also held in Cardiff in May.
Anna also performs at a high level on the violin and the piano and is a member of the Chapel Choir. She hopes to study the harp at Music College when she leaves Christ College.
On Friday evening, Anna also came second in the Abertawe Music Festival, competing in the U18 class.
