On Tuesday 26th November four L6th pupils and four yr 10 pupils together with Mr Goodrich will jet off to Malaysia as the first participants in the KH8 – CCB exchange. This is additional to the highly successful Japan exchange that has run for many years.
There is much to look forward to for our pupils; they will live and work in the impressive KH8 School, now in its second year. They will experience a homestay with their host family and visit numerous places of cultural and geographical interest. A day in the wonderfully busy, noisy and colourful capital city Kuala-Lumpur will create memories to last a lifetime.
We in turn will welcome their Malaysian exchange partners to CCB in March, and we'll be able to return their hospitality and show off many of the fantastic Welsh points of interest on the local area.
The exchange programme adds much to the experience of a Christ College education, broadening outlooks and extending the hand of friendship to our fledging sister school across the world.
