Hockey

Both Girls’ and Boys’ teams have achieved considerable success over the last 10 years.  The Girls’ are current U18 Welsh National Champions, and the U16s National Runner’s up.  Since 2011 a Christ College girls’ teams has reached at least the National Semi Finals every year.  The Boys’ are also strong, with 7 National Titles achieved since 2014 at U14, U16 and U18 level.

Christ College also has established excellent club links, with many of its junior players training and playing for Brecon HC, while the stronger more senior players train and play for Cardiff Met HC throughout the season, comfortably managing school, club and national commitments.

Christ College hockey teams regularly host overseas schools from Germany, South Africa and Argentina, with U16 and U18 Girls also embarking on 2 week tours of South Africa every three years.
