Can my child choose the activities?
Each day is planned and as such, although you child will be unable to choose individual activities, they will have the opportunity to rotate sports regularly so that we may get the best out of every child. The daily structure will support this. We believe that many skills, both mental and technical can be transferred between sports therefore your child will be able to benefit from each activity whilst having fun.Swimming will be scheduled at the camp. We aim for every child to swim at least 2-3 times per week. Due to weather variation, we recommend that your child brings swimming kit every day.
What about outdoor activities?
As long as the weather is dry and warm, we’ll be outside as much as possible. Please can you ensure that your child has clothing and shoes for both indoor and outdoor activities. Arrival / collection?
If your child is coming for breakfast, please drop off at 8:30am at St Nicolas House (the entrance nearest the bridge/opposite Brecon GP surgery). If your child is coming for a 10am start then it will be a 9:40 - 9:50 drop off time at the same location of St Nicolas house. Each child will need to be signed in by one of our coaches and registered. Similarly, each child will need to be signed out by a parent or guardian at the end of each day at 4pm.
What is a typical day?
The objective for each day is for children to enjoy and rotate between a number of different sports ranging from athletics, cricket, basketball football, hockey, netball, rugby, swimming, tennis and yoga. Children will have the opportunity to take part in four different sports each day.
Although each day will be planned and structured, no two days on the camp will be the same. Coaches will plan sessions based on weather, facilities and number of children on the camp each particular day.

Afternoon 13:15 - this session will again consist of two different sports activities, mainly game-based and then winding down towards the end of the day.End of the day: 15:45-16:00 - This will be time for coaches to debrief the day, share notices and for parents to collect their children.
