Form 3 Spanish/Geography Trip to Spain
After a very early departure from school at 03.45 on the Monday of Activities Week, 42 Form 3 pupils and 6 members of staff made their way to Bristol, for the short onward flight to Girona, just north of the Catalan capital, Barcelona. Just half an hour later, the group arrived at the resort of Lloret de Mar and at their home for the week – the Hotel Montevista – located just a few minutes walk from the Mediterranean Sea.

Ski Trip to Alpe d’Huez - Report
On the Friday after Michaelmas Term ended, instead of enjoying a well deserved lie in 37 pupils from Forms one to three gathered on the quad for the departure of an eagerly awaited ski trip. Our destination was Alpe d’Huez, one of France’s top five ski resorts, which lies high in the Grandes Rousses mountain range. A full day of travelling by coach to Luton, air to Geneva and a bus transfer to the French Alps loomed ahead but spirits were high as snow reports recorded the resorts best pre Christmas snow in ten years.
