The Kendrick Edwards Library
The Kendrick Edwards Library is centrally accommodated in one of the main school buildings. Originally 'Big School', where the whole school took 'Prep', the room has undergone a number of changes over the years and was fully refurbished in 1995.
A mezzanine gallery was added to extend the floor space and this now houses the Christ College Archive. The main library comprises over 6,000 volumes ranging from junior reference books to supplementary reading for AS/A level and a rapidly growing collection of fiction catering for classical and modern tastes across the age-range. These sit alongside lap-tops and desk-top computers with wireless access to the school network and internet. A selection of periodicals and daily newspapers allow students to keep up to the minute with current views and thinking.
Our recently refurbished 5th form study offers A level pupils the opportunity to study independently in a quiet, stress-free environment with all research materials close at hand.
