Andi, Lukas and Owen
Three pupils have received offers of places at Oxford University this year.

  • Head of School Owen Silk from Cwmdu near Brecon has been offered a place to read Materials Science at St. Edmund Hall.
  • Andi Tao, who is from Shanghai, has been offered a place to read Chemical Engineering at St. Edmund Hall.
  • Lukas Fischer-Wulf who comes from Essen, Germany has been offered a place to read Chemistry at St. Anne's College.

These latest Oxbridge offers come on the back of an outstanding year of academic achievement for Christ College which saw 73 per cent of all A level grades achieving A or B grades in 2009.  These offers also add to the six previous Oxbridge offers that pupils at Christ College have received in the previous two years.

Head, Emma Taylor, expressed her delight at these offers. She said: “I'm so pleased to see these pupils, who contribute in many other ways to life at Christ College, receiving such an incentive for all their hard work."
