On Wednesday 16 November, Oliver Price had the honour of singing a solo in front of Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, as part of a service at Llandaff Cathedral celebrating the work of Youth Cymru.
Oliver, who has set up his own community choir, the Felindre Singers, as part of Youth Cymru's collaboration with O2's “Think Big” project, was invited to perform Panis Angelicus in the service and he performed with poise and confidence. Her Royal Highness told Oliver, who studies singing at Christ College with Lis Priday, that she thought his voice was “tremendous”.

May, has received a grant from the sponsors to enable him to set up his choir, which has singers aged between five and eighty-five. They meet on Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:00pm in Felindre village hall, with tea and coffee afterwards.
