"Education will never become as expensive as ignorance"

Since Henry VIII granted its charter in 1541, Christ College has influenced the lives of thousands of young people. Today Christ College is a caring community with a strong sense of identity and purpose. First class teaching enables boys and girls to achieve their full potential.

But Despite 450 years of history Christ College has never had any endowment.

The Christ College Foundation has therefore been established as a continuous fundraising programme to provide the Governors with the resources to fund scholarships and Bursaries for deserving young people regardless of their financial circumstances, and to improve the school’s facilities.

A lifetime partnership with former pupils, parents and friends of the school, will be the key to its success.
