Business Studies GCSE and A Level and A Level Economics give pupils an opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in the world of commerce, wealth creation, adding value and current affairs.
Pupils should have a strong interest in world economic issues; globalisation, government economic policy, poverty and income distribution, environmental constraints and ethical issues. In these changing and turbulent times the study of these subjects has become even more relevant and exciting.
Classes are small and the course materials are up-to date. The teachers are experienced and also have experience beyond the classroom in business, as examiners with Examination Boards and as authors of published academic books.
Pupils will have a chance to run businesses through Mini and Young Enterprise schemes and put economic theory into practice through The Bank of England Challenge and Proshare.
