On Wednesday 18th March, a Black Tie Dinner was held in the School Dining Hall for those in Forms 4 and 5 in order to raise funds for Ysgol Penmaes.
The event was organised by the Upper 6th de Winton girls who ran the event in a highly professional manner; particular thanks go to Megan Davis and Annie Elliott for taking the lead in this.
The evening began with pre-dinner drinks served in the Clive Richards Room, with live background music provided by Daniel Kim and photography courtesy of Stephanie Yates. This was followed by a three-course formal dinner in the School Dining Hall, served by the de Winton girls, and the evening concluded with a disco in the 6th Form Centre.
The event was a huge success and the DeWinton girls would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who helped them in raising the impressive sum of £600 this most worthwhile cause.
