What do they do?
SERVE
Friends can be spotted at all major sporting events literally serving teas, cakes, bacon butties, ice-creams and even Pimms! Watch out for them at Llandovery Day, Rugby Sevens, Sports Day and Prize Day.
SUPPORT
Friends support the school at New Parent Receptions and Open Evenings, chatting with prospective parents and pupils about the school, from a parent’s point of view. They have also worked alongside the Foundation representing CCB at the Hay Festival and worked with the Careers Department initiating a work experience data-base.
SALES
Friends can be found selling their goods after the Carol Service at Christmas and again on Prize Day. Beautifully engraved Welsh Crystal wine goblets, pewter Tankards and limited edition prints of the 2007 Art Prize winning entry are all available and make delightful leaving gifts or mementos of CCB.
SOCIAL
They organise great social occasions!
