Two Old Breconians are raisng funds for two cancer charities.  Ben Jones (O, 96-03) and Mark Kennedy (B, 83-86) are raising funds for Cancer Reserach UK and Movember, which raises awareness of testicular cancer.

Ben and a group of his work colleagues have decided to down their razors for the month of November and grow a moustach. Ben said, "What many people don't appreciate is that one man dies every hour of prostate cancer in the UK, more than 35,000 men will be diagnosed this year and that prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved and I am hoping that you will support me."

If you would like to support Movember then please click on the link to Ben's Movember page and also view his progress! http://http://uk.movember.com/mospace/119881/

Mark Kennedy is also raising funds for Cancer Research UK by running three half marathons during 2010 in Bath, Bristol and Birmingham.  If you would like to make a donation then please click on the link below http://www.runningsponsorme.org/markk
