CHRIST COLLEGE PUPILS SELECTED TO REPRESENT WALES

Two Christ College pupils, Greg Webber and Kieran Marmion, have been selected to represent Wales in Cricket.  Greg who is Captain of the U14’s at Christ College  has been selected for the Wales U14’s team.   Already this season he has played against Worcestershire, Devon, Millfield and South West England.  In a recent match against Hereford Cathedral School he and opening partner Alex McKenzie set a school record for a partnership of 207 from 23 overs.  Greg made 165 not out and Alex 79 not out.

Kieran has been selected for Wales U12’s as wicketkeeper.  So far this season he has played against Berkshire, Somerset and Staffordshire.  Kieran’s highest score so far this season is 120 not out against BHS in the Lord Taverners Cup Competition.
