Sixth Form Spanish Trip to Barcelona

During the Easter vacation, a group of Sixth Form Spanish students took the opportunity to try out their Spanish oral skills, and experience some Catalan culture, in the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. A busy three day schedule of sight-seeing included visits to the Picasso Museum and Gaudí’s La Pedrera and Parc Güell, as well as a stroll down Spain’s most famous street - Las Ramblas. However, our visit to La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona’s most spectacular Modernista  building, and Europe’s most unconventional church, was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip. The boys also managed to find time for star spotting, running into Ronaldinho on their tour of Camp Nou (home to Barça), whilst the girls devoted their time and attention to a study of Spanish fashion!  Copas, tapas, fiesta, and siesta completed the full Spanish experience.  ¡Hasta el año que viene!
