Speaking up for Wales
A Christ College Sixth Form pupil, Harry Thomas, has
been selected for the Welsh National Team in the
World Schools’ Debating Championship to be held in
Stuttgart in February 2004. The Welsh team will
debate issues of international importance against
national teams from all over the world. Whilst a win
for Wales is important, Harry knows that it will be
a valuable experience which will broaden his
horizons. Harry will have to take part in a number
of training weekends in Cardiff where he, with other
members of the team, will fine-tune their debating
skills for the contest.
