CHRIST COLLEGE 100% AGAIN

Following last year’s 100% pass rate it might have been asking too much for Christ College’s A Level candidates this year to emulate the success of their predecessors.  Yet, that is precisely what they have achieved.

Local pupils, Carmel Wiggins, Bryn Reeves, Kymon Megas, Nick McMurray-Cole and Catherine Griffiths, all obtained full sets of A grades with other pupils not far behind.

Headmaster, Phillip Jones, was delighted.  He said “At the start of the year I challenged the Upper Sixth to work as never before to maintain last year’s results and I am so pleased to see efforts of pupils and teachers rewarded in this way.  I am particularly pleased because not only have the boys and girls done well academically, but they have done so while making enormous contributions at the same time to the cultural, sporting and pastoral well being of the community.  That is very important to us.”
