Lacrosse – introduced into the games programme for the first time this year, and is proving popular amongst the girls.

Lacrosse is offered every week on a Wednesday and is led by a Cardiff Lacrosse Club coach.

The sport is participated by girls when they don’t have a hockey match, or when they are not in the hockey team. It is another team sport, other than hockey or netball, which develops skills such as cooperation, communication, teamwork and a little bit of aggression!

As it becomes an increasingly popular sport in Wales, we are proud to be playing it and advertising the sport in Powys.
