- Usk House Day Hospice - Set up in 1993, from humble beginnings, but with much support from a band of volunteers, they now run a small, but professional organisation. They have a day centre for patients with terminal/long-term illnesses, (eg. cancer, MS, Parkinsons, motor neurone disease), and have their own transport to bring patients in and return them home. They have no salaried fund-raiser but they have annual costs of only £160,000. The vast majority of this goes directly towards patient care. Christ College is proud to support this wonderful organisation by holding concerts and events thoughout the year, from which proceeds are donated to Usk House Day Hospice.
