|Plans and preparations for welcoming 7-11 year olds to Christ College in September 2014 are well underway, and it is enormously exciting. We are greatly looking forward to adding pupils in Years 3-6 to the Christ College family and providing them with the same high quality education that we currently offer to those aged 11-18.
The update to the right aims to outline progress we have made since our last briefing in March 2014. It will present the developing ethos and culture of our new Juniors and provide answers to some of the questions most likely to be on the minds of families as they contemplate the opportunities that this brand new venture will bring.
There have been several major developments in the past few months:
- Firstly, I'm delighted to inform you that we have appointed Mrs Julie Lewis as Head of Juniors;
- Secondly, we have made a decision on the location of the Juniors at Christ College;
- Thirdly, we have decided on a name for the Juniors ... St Nicholas House.
To find out more, browse our school website, download our most recent Update, or even better, come and see us, meet me, the staff and pupils, and see for yourself why we want to make the great experiences our pupils have available to younger children, too.
We've held Open Morning in October 2013 and March 2014 for prospective junior pupils and their families, as well as an Entry Day on 22nd March 2014, all of which were very well subscribed. We are planning to hold another Entry Day on 7th June 2014 but you don't have to wait until then to visit.
Please feel free to arrange a personal visit to come and speak to me about our proposals for the Junior Section at Christ College. Simply contact Mrs Margaret Stephens, Admissions Registrar, on 01874 615440 or email email@example.com.
