School Appointments for the 2014/2015 Academic Year have been announced. Many congratulations to all of you and good luck in your roles.
CCF cadets have just returned from their annual CCF Summer Camp in Penally, near Tenby, where they confirmed Christ College's status at the Best CCF in Wales by winning the Drill Competition.
For some pupils and staff, the first week of the summer holidays was spent 'relaxing' whilst completing a Welsh Three Peaks Challenge!
Christ College's Prize Day took place on Saturday 5th July. Guest of Honour this year was Old Breconian Tori James.
At 6.00 am on 3rd July, a 12 hour charity football match kicked off here at Christ College to raise awareness and funds for a very special cause, raising over £2000 in the process for the Dreams & Wishes charity.
On Tuesday, 1st July Christ College hosted a Universities Fair for our own Lower Sixth
and Fifth Form and Year 12 pupils from a number of other secondary schools. Professor Richard Davies, Vice Chancellor of Swansea University, was the keynote speaker.
Christ College is delighted to announce that next week we will welcome the National Theatre to Christ College to lead a 'War Horse' drama workshop in ‘puppet handling’ so that students will have the opportunity to really get to grips with how to make a puppet come to life.
Over the next few days, Lower School pupils will be performing their production of Bugsy Malone to packed audiences in the Neuadd, which will be transformed into Fat Sam's Speakeasy!
